Ferdinand Walther was born in Germany 1857, he traveled with his mother and brother to meet Joseph Walther in New York, 1861. Ferdinand married Louisa Null and had 3 sons, Ferdinand Jr., Joseph E. and Cornelius B. Ferdinand was a miller & farmer. He died in St. Vincent's Hospital, in Indianapolis, 1930. Ferdinand is pictured to the left, his son Joseph E. Walther is pictured to right.
